Club Values

At our club, the safety, well-being, and happiness of every gymnast are at the heart of everything we do. We’re proud to foster a kind, fun, and motivating environment where gymnasts of all ages can grow in confidence, build friendships, and enjoy learning new skills.

Since our founding in 1987 with just 25 gymnasts, we’ve grown into a thriving community of over 300 members. Open communication between coaches, gymnasts, and parents is one of our core values, helping us support everyone’s journey and create a truly inclusive and encouraging space.

Gymnastics is an incredible sport that builds strength, discipline, and resilience — and it’s made even better by the supportive atmosphere created by our passionate coaches, dedicated parents, and inspiring young gymnasts.

If you’re thinking of getting involved, there’s never been a better time to join our club. Come and experience the magic of gymnastics — we’d love to welcome you to our community!

Club Achievements

Since our founding, our club has built a proud legacy of excellence across all levels of gymnastics. From local displays to prestigious national and international competitions, our gymnasts continue to rise to every challenge – demonstrating exceptional skill, dedication, and a true passion for the sport.

We’ve had the honour of representing at national level, attending elite training camps, performing and competing on the global stage in countries such as England, Ireland, Belgium, Romania, Italy, the USA, and China. Along this journey, our gymnasts have earned an impressive collection of medals and accolades across regional, national, and international events — a clear reflection of their relentless hard work and commitment.

These unforgettable experiences have been both a privilege for our coaches and a source of inspiration for the gymnasts who are the heart of our club. Each success, whether on the podium or in personal progress, embodies the spirit of our community. We’re proud of how far we’ve come — and we’re just as excited for what lies ahead.

Club History

The Club was formed in 1987 with 25 gymnasts training in the Assembly Hall of the old Auchterarder High School. The Club continued to grow and increase its membership over the following 6 years, moving to Glenruthven Mill in 1993, where it held classes every weekday and at weekends, seeing its membership rise to 100 gymnasts and its coaches increasing from 2 to 8.

In March 2002 we became a registered charity & completed the required fundraising necessary to build our existing facility. We received support from Lottery funding, Robertson Trust, Gannochy Trust, Auchterarder Common Good Fund, Perth & Kinross Council, Auchterarder Rotary, local businesses and fundraising by gymnasts, parents and friends. We moved in 2004, with the official opening taking place in May 2005 by Steve Frew, winner of a gold medal at the Manchester Commonwealth Games.

Today we have over 430 gymnasts ranging from 18 months up to 18 years, training every day of the week with an excess of 15 coaches, all fully trained and qualified, together with all the helpers who perform a fantastic variety of roles.
